Internet Explorer unable to install on Newest Windows.

Hello, Qubisbad.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Every version of QuickBooks has its corresponding system requirements. For QuickBooks Desktop 2020 (latest version), it requires an Internet Explorer 11 as your browser. Since it's an updated software, it should work with an updated browser to be able to run QuickBooks seamlessly.

Feel free to visit this link to upgrade your browser.

Here's an article where you find out more about QuickBooks Desktop 2020 system requirements which includes the supported Operating System, Database Servers, Browser Requirements and more: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2020 and Enterprise Solutions 20.0

If you've tried the solutions above to no avail, it would be best to reach out to our QuickBooks Care Support. They have the tools to conduct a thorough investigation for a complete resolution.

Here are the steps to contact support:

  1. Click Help at the top menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. In the Have a Question? window, enter a topic.
  3. Click Contact us.
  4. Hit the Stat Messaging button.

Please take note our operating hours for chat support depends on the version of QuickBooks that you're using. Please see this article for more details: Support hours and types

Let me know if you need anything else, and I'm always right here to provide the information you need. Have a great day!

Did you have the same issue? Make sure to enabled it on Windows setting.

Still waiting.

Go to:

Banking: Bank Feeds: Bank Feeds Center.  Assuming you have set up bank feeds; there is a little refresh account button on the top right of your screen.  Click it - keep going - click it again ---

Your browser is too old to support the minimum security measures we require to keep your data safe. Update your browser to the latest version to login.

NOPE! not today!  This is a QuickBooks window - the user has no control over.

Thanks for following this thread, Gregpeggyw.

I know how important for your business to use the Bank Feeds feature seamlessly. Let me point you in the right direction, so you can fetch new entries from your bank.

We’ll use the Web Connect option to import transactions and then download them to the desktop program. There are two ways to bring your bank data. You can do it using QuickBooks or outside the system.

Click here for the detailed steps and go directly to the Download using the Web Connect section. From there, choose which method that works for you.

If you’ve downloaded the entries outside QuickBooks, follow these steps to bring them to the company file. I’ll help you through the steps.

  1. Go to the Banking menu to choose Bank Feeds and Import Web Connect Files.
  2. Choose the QBO file you saved and click Open.
  3. When prompted to Select Bank Account, pick either Use an existing QuickBooks account or Create a new QuickBooks account.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. A dialogue box will inform you that the data has been successfully read into QuickBooks.
  6. Press the OK button.

Once done, you can add and classify the entries. Check out this article for more details: Add and match Bank Feed transactions.

For future reference, this guide contains resources that will help you manage any banking activities: Get started with Bank Feeds.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, don’t hesitate to drop a comment below. Have a good one.
