I just saw that intuit started charging monthly QB plus subscription $199/month using a fake AMEX card!
The payment AMEX card has a fake name, David Attman, but it has my address. I never opened AMEX card.
I called AMEX and they told me that I don't have any account opened with my SS number or my name.
Two days ago, I already paid $549 per year for yearly subscription ,using the credit card which I actually have.
And the intuit website does not let me cancel the monthly subscription with the fake AMEX card.
Is intuit trying to boost the revenue by fake charge because it is the end of the year?
Hi Manyponytail,
I'd also feel less happy if I get unwanted charges since every penny is precious when running a business.
We'd like this checked with our concerned team, so I recommend contacting our support for help. They can further help you verify your billing details, and they may provide more instructions to resolve it.
If you want to manage your subscription or payment method, you can log in to the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) using your Intuit credentials. If you don't know your password, enter your email and click the I forgot my user ID or password link on the Sign-in page.
Let us know if you have other questions about your account. We're just around to help you.
You are using QB Desktop Plus, not QB Online, correct?
Did you receive the notification from QB Online to the same email address with your access to CAMPS as Primary Contact?
