I'll guide you on how to add a discount on your inventory items using your QuickBooks Desktop Pro.
Here's how:
- Go to the Lists tab and select Item list.
- Click the Item button in the lower-left corner of the window.
- Choose New.
- Under the Type field, select Discount.
- On the Item Name/Number box, enter the name of the discount.
- Enter the Description and the Amount or %.
- Select which account will the discount be mapped.
- Choose the Tax Code of the discount.
- Click OK.
