Inventory pricing updates

How do i perform Inventory pricing updates from excel to enterprise.

We receive yearly price updates from our main vendor for whom we've got approx 5,000 items in our system.

I'm having issues with I'm assuming formatting or something.

Is there a standard procedure that I'm not aware of?

Thanks

If you want to change the value of COGS of your current inventory, explore the importer tools and prepare your inventory adjustment on its template.

Inventory pricing updates

Let me help you update the price list using an Excel file, The Forage Solutions Specialist.

You can copy the details from your Excel file to update multiple items in QuickBooks Desktop. Here's how:

  1. Go to the List menu and select Add/Edit Multiple List Entries.
  2. Select Inventory parts under List.
  3. Click Customize Columns in the upper-right hand corner if you want to add or remove columns.
  4. Copy the data by pressing Ctrl + C in your Excel file and paste them using Ctrl + V in the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window.
  5. Click Save Changes.

This article will share additional details about this function: Add and edit multiple customers, vendors, and items

You'll also want to run inventory-related reports if you want to review data after updating the details. Just go to the Reports menu, select Lists, and then click Item Price List.

The QuickBooks Team is always here if you need more help with your inventories.
