At the moment, the parent and sub-items uses separate reorder points. This is the reason why, the quantity you set in the parent inventory will not sync the subsidiary items.
To resolve this, account the exact inventory item you received for QuickBooks to track them accurately. Then, set the reorder points for each inventory you add or track inside the program.
