Invoice templates

When creating a custom invoice template, the template says “INVOICE TO” above the customers name and billing info. When i use this template and print the Invoice it comes out as “BILL TO” above customer name and info.

It used to appear this way (“INVOICE TO”) on all previous Invoices using the same template and one day it changed.

any insight as to why and how can I change this back?

Invoice templates

You can delete and then recreate that invoice template, @CFDRIVE.

Please take note of the field code of your file. You can have it this way on the file:

INVOICE TO:

<customername>

After recreating your template, save it and upload the template from Import style. From here, you can now match your fields with the QuickBooks fields.

You can check this article for more information: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates

Also, you can refer to the following article on how to edit the layout, design, and data fields that appear on your invoices: How to Customize Invoices in QuickBooks Online

I'm always here if you need more help with your template and or anything else, by leaving a comment below. Have a wonderful day!
