Is there a way to edit an existing product or service from the PO screen?

In QB Online is there a way to edit an existing product or service from the PO screen?

Frequently when I'm creating a purchase order, I'll realize that the cost, or some other piece of information about a product is incorrect and needs to be fixed. I then have to exit that screen, go to products and services, search for the item, save the change, then find the vendor and pull up the PO again. It feels like a lot of hassle, when I've got the item right there in the PO.

My company used Premier for several years, and I believe that there was some feature like that in there. Any way to do this with Online, or any chance of it getting added?

Hi there, @WDMorgan297.

Changing the information of items in the Purchase Order window applies to a specific transaction. If you'd like to update the details, we'll have to do this on the Product and Services page.

Go to the Sales menu and then select Product and Services.
Locate the items that need to be updated.
Under the Action column, click Edit.
From there, you can start updating the info.
Once you're done, click on Save and Close.

You can also start tracking your sales and inventory status in QuickBooks Online. This way, you'll easily see your best sellers, what’s on hand, the cost of goods, and more.

Yes, I understand that that's the current way to do it, but it's cumbersome, especially compared to other versions of Quickbooks. If it's not currently an option can I make a feature request for it?
