Item list on my invoice does not match with income COA. How do I fix it?

Greetings, @hoasobczynski.


Thank you for joining the Community. I'd be happy to help share some information to ensure the item list on your invoice match with the income account in the Chart of Accounts. 


Are you referring to the income account associated with the product and services items used when creating an invoice? If so, you can fix this by making sure the income account selected in the item's set up is correct.


Here's how: 

  1. At the top right, click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Products and Services.
  3. In the Products and Services lists, find the item.
  4. Under the ACTION column, click Edit
  5. Under Sales information, make sure the I sell this product/service to my customers checkbox is marked.
  6. From the Income account drop-down, select the correct account. 
  7. Click Save and close.
