Yes, there's a way to copy an item and edit it similar to how you can copy transactions, BernieJ.
You can use the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries feature to edit multiple inventory items. Then, copy and paste the list from Excel into QuickBooks using this feature.
Here's how:
- Click Lists on the top menu.
- Select Add/Edit Multiple List Entries.
- Tick the List drop-down and choose Inventory Parts.
- Tap View drop-down and select All Inventory Items.
- Edit an entry in any field to make some changes.
- Highlight the desired field and right click then choose Copy Down. This will copy the data in a specific field to the remaining records.
- Hit Save Changes.
