I have done this 4 times and have not received any response - starting last week. Any ideas? How do I get rid of the update and get back to my data. I have QB Desktop Pro Plus.

Since you've been experiencing the same for more than a week, I'd suggest reaching out to our phone support agents. One of them has the tools that can check your file further and investigate the root cause why you're unable to log in.
You can contact them via the Help menu. Then, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
Keep in mind that we're always here to help you with QuickBooks.
Can you open the sample file?
No, it won't let me open QB at all. I get to the point where it asks for my user id and password then give me the error message and asks me to send message to QB then as soon as I do it closes the program.
i have senet 4 messages and received no help.
No, it closes the program after I login.
How do I get ahold of a phone support agent? I can't contact them via the help menu as you suggested since the program won't even let me log in.
