Live Bookkeeping

This is very upsetting to me.  Today I had 2 clients say that they are going to use QB Live Bookkeeping because they were approached by QBLB that "QuickBooks has a team working with therapists to make sure we are billing according to the new rules and tax changes".  That was a quote from one of my clients. What is going on.  I didn't think QB would come after clients that already had bookkeepers.  Can someone enlighten me on this.  I would greatly appreciate it.  I have 3 other clients that are counselors and I can't afford to lose them.

Live Bookkeeping

Hi there, chrislyn777.

Thank you for reaching out for support here in the Community. I'd be glad to address your concerns regarding QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping.

Accounting Professionals, like yourself, are Intuit's most valuable partners and together there's a shared mission to power prosperity for small businesses and Self-Employed individuals. Intuit acknowledges that small businesses are more successful when they work with an accountant. Our goal is to connect every business owner with an accounting professional that meets their unique needs. Today, there are programs available, like Find-A-ProAdvisor, and we continue to innovate and test new ways to connect every small business with accounting professionals that can help them succeed.

With that being said, Intuit's goal is to offer the QuickBooks Live option to small businesses that don't currently have a ProAdvisor, bookkeeper, or accountant. If a small business’s QuickBooks Online file is linked to a QuickBooks Online Accountant account, the in-product messages and marketing about QuickBooks Live is hidden from them.
