Thank you for the info. The thing is each city has multiple zip codes which were entered specific to each transaction. I actually only need the city name, so there is a multitude of excess locations (zip codes) that we are going to have to buy an upgraded QB online because of, and is the only reason for doing so. I hate to pay extra simply because I cannot delete unused and unnecessary locations.
Thanks for posting in the Community, @Speir Leak Inc. I can provide clarification on making Locations inactive in QuickBooks Online.
Clicking ‘delete’ for Chart of Accounts, Classes or Locations just makes that field inactive. Transactions associated with that account, class or location will remain accessible. As a result, you will not have to remove the Location from a transaction should you choose to make it inactive.
