Logos in Templates

Hello, @paradigmtrends.

Let me provide some troubleshooting steps that will help you resolve this concern.

When uploading a logo in QuickBooks Desktop, there are requirements that need to follow.

The logo should be:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • Smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
  • Square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work
  • Using the standard RGB color space.

If the issue persists, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Open the logo in MS Paint.
  2. Then, save the image as a Bitmap.

Once done, save the logo on the template in your QuickBooks Desktop.

Here’s how.

  1. Open Estimates.
  2. Select the Formatting tab.
  3. Click Customize Data Layout.
  4. On the bottom part, select Basic Customization
  5. Under Logo & Fonts, put a checkmark in the box of Use logo.
  6. Click Select Logo.
  7. On the windows popup, select the logo that you wanted to add on your template
  8. Then, click OK.
