Looking for help in formatting the Header in Statement Writer Report

I am trying to figure out how to have the Class automatically entered in the Header when I filter my report by Class, as I want it to be part of the title. I tried {Class} and it doesn't work. Is there a solution?

Thanks

Hello there, SarahD.

I've got a workaround for you! While we're unable to automatically include a class to your report title, you can add it manually by editing your report name. Let me help you how to do it.

  1. Click QuickBooks Statement Writer, then select Design New Report on the QSW opening window. If you are already working in QSW, you can start a new financial report from the Statement Writer menu or from the QSW icons.
  2. Enter the report date and basis:
  3. Add statements and documents: You can add statements and documents in any order that is convenient for you.
  4. Enter the report name: This name can be different from the name you use for the final pdf report. It is also where you can add the Class.

You can read the details in this article: Use and navigate QuickBooks Statement Writer (QSW).

This may work. Sounds like I'll probably have to save templates under all the Class names, but that's OK. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks!
