Hi there, Mike.
There are a few possible reasons why you can't connect to the bank:
Did you receive any specific error message while connecting to your bank? This will help me investigate why you're having this issue. You can leave a comment below.
To isolate the issue, you can proceed with disconnecting and reconnecting your account for a fresh connection. For your guide, I recommend opening these links:
If both steps don't make any difference, I would recommend reaching out to your bank to verify if they're undergoing system maintenance preventing you from connecting your account to QBO.
In the meantime, manually import your bank transactions using.CSV a file. You can download transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QBO. Just follow the steps and details in the Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online article.
Once your transactions are now in your bank feeds, you can categorize and match them.
In addition, to learn more about QuickBooks Online (QBO) banking and banking feeds, you may check our help articles: QuickBooks Online Help Articles.
Let me know how this works out on your end. I'm determined to get this resolved for you. Thanks for reaching out!
Hi there! Wondering if there was any resolution to this? I have been unable to connect to all of our Schwab accounts also and never had this problem. Charles Schwab says its on Quickbook's end. The message is that it is unable to connect to the bank. I am having no problem accessing my info on the bank's website.
In November Schwab made a change and migrated to soda api (about 5 weeks ago) from what the rep is telling me she thinks Quickbooks is still supported. I believe Quickbooks needs to contact Charles Schwab to figure out if they need to do something to get this going.

This is general information and this issue is more complex than that. I am disappointed with the lengths I have to go through and the time consumed to get answers. I have year end deadlines to meet and rely on the banking connection to make this happen. I was stopped at Tier 1 with a rep who was not advanced enough to help and Tier 2 would not speak with me to let me know where they are in resolving this issue. I know for a fact that Charles schwab has millions of accountholders and I am not alone with this problem. The investigation number is all I know and that is #63725. Please advise if you have any additonal information or advice.
Thanks,
Lisa
