Making Inventory Inactive

If I make an inventory item inactive, then decide to add later (by receiving inventory with bill) will that automatically change it back to active, or will I need to make it active manually?

Hello there, viperdiver,

 

When you create a bill and use the inactive inventory item, a prompt box will appear, The system can detect if an inactive item is used. You'll have an option to use it once for that transaction. You can also make it active on the spot.

 

Here's an example of how the prompt box looks like:
