Since your data is 6 years behind it might need some Interim Jumps. For instance, 2015-2018-2021.
With that said, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support team to perform the interim jump process. Here's how to contact them:
- Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/configure-products/contact-the-quickbooks-desktop-...
- Choose QuickBooks Desktop for Mac chat.
- Complete the needed information, then submit the request.
I'd also add instructions on how to set up QuickBooks just in case. Once you have done buying the new version, you can now download and install it. Before doing that, make sure to check the minimum system requirements to ensure you can download smoothly.
After that, prepare your license number. Please check the original purchase confirmation email or the label on the original packaging next to the UPC Code to get the number.
Here's how to download/install:
- Go to this link: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products.
- Choose the version, then hit Search.
- Tap Download.
- Double-click the downloaded installer or insert the disc into the Mac CD drive.
- Drag the QuickBooks icon to the Applications folder.
- Double-click the QuickBooks icon to open the application.
