Missing data

I posted earlier in the week but the problem is still not resolved. I have spent hours with Support to no avail. They keep dropping the phone connection, or telling me they will call back, but so far no luck. This is not a simple problem: when I upgraded to Enterprise 22.0, backup was made and the install went smoothly with no errors. (Windows 10 up-to-date.) When I opened QB, it opend just fine but there was no data showing in anything: no accounts, zero data. I can see both the Company File, (14-MB) and backup at the time and date of the upgrade and backup (7.5- MB.) Support have worked with me several times, running File Doctor, attempting to restore the backup and finally, referring me to a 2nd tier tech. I have never been able to connect with this tech. He did call me back once, but I had emailed saying that I was out that day ill. I got an email from both Brad and Dave, saying to call back when I was available. Yesterday I called Support and got a very nice woman who worked for almsot two hours, first to understand my problem, then to locate my case and finally to contact a second tier tech to talk to me. After another half hour she told me that all of the techs were busy and that one of them would call "as soon as he finishes what he is working on." By that time it was 5:00 PM CST, but I waited until 7:00 and nobody called. I am really at a loss as to what to do next. The QB program is on the desktop of the General Manager and I don't have access to it except after 5:00 PM, or when she is not in he office. I need to be able to contact someone to talk to me when I am able to talk and access the company file. Who has any suggestions?

Hi Bobsta1932,

I understand the challenges that you're having right now and I know you're eager to get this resolved.

Rest assured, that the Tier 2 tech will continue to help you with this. I'm just unable to check your account though to see if there are notes about why there wasn't a callback. I suggest contacting the Phone or Chat agents to follow up this case. They can pull up you account in a more secure environment. You can reach team anytime since you're subscribed to QuickBooks Enterprise. However, our Tier 2 team is normally available from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

If there's anything that I can help, feel free to go back to this thread.

@Bobsta1932

Which QB Desktop year version did you use before QBD 2022? Are you still able to open your file on it?

We upgraded from Enterprise 2018. No, company file will not open in old version. That is teh reasdon that I upgraded originally. When I tried to open V 2018 a message popped up saying that QB had to upgrade, so I went through teh backup, downlaod, upgrade process. My first contact with Support did eh normal File Doctor, restore from backup rotine, to no avail. They tried to open with older version, also without success. Thanks for your reply.

Do you still have QBD 2018 installed on the machine?? Try opening the sample file, create a backup file and restore it on QBD 2022 to isolate the issue.
