Multi-User Issues

We are able to put QB Desktop Pro 2021 in Multi-user mode and access from both computers, BUT we are able to edit the same transactions at the same time and can't see what the other person has been doing to edit it. I have gone through all of the suggestions on other articles on here and haven't had any luck getting it to work properly.

Multi-User Issues

Thanks for posting in the Community, @E-Z Lift.


Since the multi-user network is set set-up, you can edit the same transaction at the same time with the other person in your company. However, you can pull up the Audit Trail report and review the edit history.


From there, you can view who made the changes and when the changes are made. You can also customize and filter the report to locate what you're looking for.


Here's how:


  1. Click Reports at the top menu bar and choose Account & Taxes.
  2. Select Audit Trail.
  3. On the report screen, click Customize Report.
  4. Filter the necessary details.
  5. Click on Refresh to refresh the page.
