My Time app

Is it possible to have the My Time app on a mobile device so you can enter your time remotely without having QB for Mac on your device? Then have that employee email the file to the employer who has My Time and QB for Mac on their desktop so that the employer can then generate invoices from the time entered?

My Time app

Hi there, @eelrod.

The option to exchange data using My Time app between mobile devices and QuickBooks for Mac is not supported yet by Intuit. This app is compatible only with Mac OS 10.15 Catalina and must be using a 2019 & 2020 QuickBooks Mac version.

However, if you're using another My Time app through phone, you can reach out to its developer to check if they can integrated it QuickBooks for Mac.

In addition, you can also run time tracking-related reports in QuickBooks for Mac. This will help you see all the time entries you've recorded. Just go to Reports menu and select Jobs, Time and Mileage. Then, choose between Time by Job Summary, Time by Job Detail, Time by Name, and Time by item.

I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Just tag my name in the comment section and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
