My Wells Fargo accounts will not sync. I just keep getting the spinning circles. Is there a way to stop the sync and re-start? Do I have a connection issue?

Hello Melanie,

 

There are different factors that can cause a connection issue between your bank and QuickBooks:

  • Bank has an ongoing website maintenance
  • Piled-up cache files
  • Bank has added a security feature that needs your confirmation
  • Sudden loss of internet connection

You can close the current browser to stop the sync process. Here's what we can do to establish a new connection between your bank and QuickBooks:

  1. Open a private browser and update the Banking page manually.
  2. If the bank transactions are downloaded successfully, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache storage.
  3. Use other supported browsers if necessary.

I'd also suggest contacting your bank to see if they have an ongoing website maintenance. They can also provide details if there are added new security features that need your confirmation. After that, you can try syncing your bank with QuickBooks again.
