As of today if I try to use the QB app on my iphone XR (actually I have two of these phones and the app has same issue on both) it says it's accessing the company data, and then I get a full screen advertisement for QB discounted subscription and I CANNOT ESCAPE FROM IT. See images. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling to no avail. I can still access my account by logging in to the website however. Can some one please help me? Chatting with tech support did not help. Thanks, Lori
Solved! Go to Solution.
This is the initial ad that fills the screen. There is no option to X out of it. Then the one with the prices comes up and my only options are to subscribe or log out. The QB account is owned by/set up by my employer and has worked well until today. Another employee said her app still works in her iphone. Thanks, Lori
I understand going through multiple troubleshooting steps and not having any of them work can be a real pain,2045mytt-.
I appreciate you for performing the recommended solutions and contacting our support agent to get this sorted out. Also, the screenshot you have provided helps us better isolate the issue.
I've checked here on our end and there's an ongoing issue about this one. Where customers being greeted with Billing Discount that prompts the creation of a new subscription. This prevents them from accessing their current QuickBooks app account using their IOS Mobile App. Our engineers are working together for the permanent fix.
In the meantime, just access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a web browser.
Once done, please reach out to our Customer Support Team again. I know you already called but since this is a public forum, they can pull up and check your account in a secure environment. Then, they'll add you to the list of affected users.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the iPhone app 7 times over last 2 weeks. The damnable advertisement still covers, the app and renders it unusable. How hard is it to remove the ad?
I appreciate taking the time to uninstall and reinstall the app. It usually fixes common issues. I can point you to the right the direct to get this issue fixed. Though aside from reinstalling it, there's something else we can try before going to our support team.
I've reviewed the reported case mentioned by RCV. The engineers have rolled out a fix in the latest patch.
Did you use an old .IPA file (file name for iPhone apps) to reinstall the mobile app? If so, you'll want to use the latest one instead. You can download or update it here if you haven't done so already (going to the App Store in your phone also works).
If you're still experiencing the same issue after using the latest .ipa file, I'd recommend reaching out to our support team. They can look at the system and double check what's preventing the advertisement from being closed.
Use your phone's browser and log in to https://qbo.intuit.com/. Then, follow the steps provided by RCV to contact us. You can also do the tasks you need to do on it while fixing the issue on the mobile app.

I am also having this issue with my ipad. After my free trial I can't access my account because the subscription page will not go away and there is no way to get passed it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times to no avail! I tried opening it through a browser and it tells me my subscription has expired. If I can't get this fixed soon I will have to use another app to keep my books.
Hello there, @Redhead1025.
Monthly subscription payments are done automatically every month once you have saved your credit card detail in the Billing and Subscription page in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you've paid the subscription using the App Store (iPhone or iPad) steps in the Update the payment information for your subscription, I recommend contacting iTunes. They can check your subscription and verify the payment for you. They'll also help ensure you're able to access your QBO account.
You can also view your payment history through a web browser to verify the payment. Here's how:
Also, you can reach our customer support team if you want to move your intuit billing. Then resubscribe through the billing and subscription page in your QuickBooks account.
To make sure we address your concern on time, check out our support hours.
We'll be right here if you need anything else. Take care always.
