I'll discuss the specifics regarding deleting your data and starting over, KLPNW.
Given that your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account was opened several years ago, you'll need to cancel your existing subscription and sign up for a new one to start fresh. I understand this may feel a bit inconvenient on your part, but the option to erase company data is only available for new users or books less than 90 days old.
For more information, refer to this article: Delete and start over.
After cancelling, you will have read-only access to your QBO plan for one year. If you want to permanently delete your Intuit Account and all of its data, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
- Click Data privacy.

- Select Delete.

- Click Make a delete request to confirm. (Requests can take up to 90 days. During this time, don’t create a new Intuit Account using the same email address, or the new data could also get deleted.)
Additionally, I've added this resource to help you update your QuickBooks account information: Manage your Intuit Account online.
