Negative qty on available qty for pos multi store

Came across a strange occurrence that I can't seem to figure out.

All the on hand qtys show zero but he availability shows a negative number.

I am not able to change this.  There are no order, pending or any other things that show up with the inventories.
This only shows negative on the available qty
How would I go about correcting these numbers?

Negative qty on available qty for pos multi store

@zombie65  Thank you for joining community.

The screenshot was helpful to get a better understanding of what you're seeing.

As you probably know, a negative quantity indicates sales were made for the item when the quantity on hand was listed in Point of Sale as 0.

For assistance determining what caused this we would recommend to contact support.  An agent from POS support can look into your system and help fix the issue for your workstations.

This link will take you to the QuickBooks support page, where you can select your service and the proper contact channel: Contact Support

Did you ever get an answer from Intuit as to why you are getting the negatives?  I have the same issue on some items

Hi there, Amyshr1120.

Generally, the availability and quantity on hand will become negative when you proceed to the billing of that inventory item even though the stock is appearing as zero (0).

Since your quantity on hand shows zero but the availability shows a negative number, I recommend getting in touch with our technical supports. This way, we'll be able to pull up your account in a safe environment and perform a series of tests to rectify the underlying issue. To connect with us, please use the link provided by my colleague, YvetteVelarde.

Additionally, here's an article that you can read to know what happens after importing your items from QuickBooks Desktop to Point of Sale: Inventory valuation amounts in Point of Sale and QuickBooks Desktop do not match.

If I can be of any additional assistance, please don't hesitate to insert a comment below. Stay safe and healthy.
