Net To Gross Formula

I'd be glad to provide information concerning net to gross formula, @Pivrock.

To get the gross wage, we can add the regular or salary pay and other payment types like overtime, bonus, holiday, and time off. On the other hand, deduct the total payroll deduction from the gross pay to get the net pay.

Also, since you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll, we can run the payroll as a bonus check to calculate the total or gross pay. Here's how:

  1. Total the tax percentages.
  2. Then, subtract the total from 100%.
  3. Convert that number to percent by moving the decimal two positions to the left.
  4. Add $100(FIT) and $100(other deduction) to the net amount.
  5. Divide the new net amount by the amount in step 3.

From there, you'll be able to find out the gross amount.

In addition, feel free to review this guide here for your reference: Understand gross pay and net pay.

Also, you’ll want to visit this resource for more insights about managing your business and employees: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Please let me know if you need clarification about QBO Payroll related concerns. I'll be standing by for your response. Have a great day, and stay safe.
