No "print check" button

There is no print checks button when I click the "New" button. Didn't there used to be? I thought just yesterday I was able to hit the new button and select print checks and it would bring me to a list of my checks waiting to be printed. I now have to go into my registrar and click edit to print my checks. what am I doing wrong?

No "print check" button

Hello, EStanimer. Welcome to the Community.

I'd like to start off by pointing out that you're doing everything correctly. I took a look at the ADD NEW screen in our test drive account and can see a Print checks option underneath VENDORS. I've additionally reviewed our What’s new in QuickBooks Online: July 2020 article which didn't mention any updates about it.

According to Intuit's official resource guide for printing cheques, the feature is still accessible in this same area by clicking your + New button, then choosing Print checks.

Since you're unable to see it, and QuickBooks Online is accessed using a browsing application, I'd recommend initially trying to repeat these same steps in a private window to see if the option displays or not.

Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you're seeing it when accessing your account this way, the original problem is being caused by temporary internet files. You can fix this by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.

In the event you're still unable to find the Print checks feature, I'm still here to help. Please let me know how these steps work. I'll be looking forward to hearing back. Have a fantastic day!
