Buy nowSo, this is not isolated to one computer. I have used Quickbooks for many years like 20 PLUS or when it first came out. I use the stand alone desktop program as I need it wherever I go on a laptop or a desktop and I am one user. I do not need all the fancy stuff or payroll etc and run a million dollar company by myself and now all of a sudden the "LOGIN TO INTUIT ACCOUNT" POP UP COMES and I click continue and it just spins its wheels and now on a timer when I will be LOCKED OUT OF MY BUSINESS SOFTWARE I LEGALLY PURCHASED AND IS LICENSED which will prevent me from making money and then I will have to take legal action if this happens unless this matter is fixed. I do not want to hear well you are out of support as this is NOT A TECHNICAL ISSUE ON MY END BUT THAT OF THE INTUIT SIDE AND NOT ABLE TO LOGIN WITHIN SOFTWARE and again this is on not just one computer further showing its a program Intuit issue!. Please assist, I have emailed the CEO directly but just want to be able to use my purchased software I have used for years ! I have an intuit account so that is NOT the issue. SOMEONE AT INTUIT PLEASE ASSIST, I just want to be able to bill my customers and soon this will prevent me from doing so ! INTUIT ISSUE NOT MINE!
It has nothing to do with my license code as I already have it, It has to do with the program itself, maybe from an update or not but when quickbooks within its software rendomly says to login to Intuit, it never gets to the login page just spins and spins and spins within the program. This is a Intuit software issue that needs to be fixed regardless its QB 2019 Pro or past warranty support.
Quickbooks can't all of a sudden do an update or stop the program from logging into Intuit for verification which will limit the program or stop it from fuctioning. I have a valid lifetime license period.
Maybe they should fix it or advice how to ammend software from that pop up and allow me to run my business and others most likely too facing this issue.
AGAIN THIS IS EITHER the program itself or Intuit no longer allowing QB Pro 2019 to login to Intuit within the program. This is also not just on one computer but multiple computers with same issue so 100% can say Software or Intuit!
I am having the same issue, I can not login to send my statements for January 1st. Did you get this problem resolved and what did you do?
Let's see how the Support team responds to your issue. I wouldn't be surprised if they mention CAMPS to refute your claim. You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2019 for the time being.
Its not a question of license, what we found out today with them is that the latest update willfully removed the ability to login and email invoices in their attempt to force you to upgrade which I think is complete unfair business tactics and now is interferring with my business unless I upgrade to Enterprise or monthly which again is BS as I purchased a standalone program for a reason.
They are supposed to get back to me next week but they did this on purpose which I think is so wrong to interfere with ones business just to get them to upgrade. They are supposed to help business NOT HURT THEM. I do not need all the extra bells and whistles just sending invoices and reports ! I am pretty pissed and may consider legal action. I just hope they do right to a long time customer and pretty sure lots of others negatively affected by this!
No resolution other than buying online iOS enterprise and they purposely did this and hurt businesses instead of helping businesses by doing this . It’s pure extortion and u fair business tactics sending an update that cripples a licensed bought software. If my main computer won’t be able to send invoices I may consider legal action and a massive public campaign about how Intuit deliberately hurt businesses just to force them to buy a newer product ! SHAME ON INTUIT !

Please let us know how you ended up resolving this issue. The same thing happened to me, and I hate the idea of having to convert my QB 2019 desktop to some online program.
Purchase old QB Desktop 2020 or 2021 with a non subscription license to upgrade your version. You can also use the trial version as a workaround. You don't have to switching to QB Online.
We have 2020 Desktop Pro (non-subscription) and having the same issue of not being able to email our customers since Jan 1.

I know how important it is to email your customers for the past few days.
QuickBooks Desktop 2020 Pro is a discontinued product, which means it no longer receives updates or support from Intuit. As a result, features such as emailing forms or reports are no longer available.
In the meantime, you can use a QuickBooks Desktop trial version to access your data. This will let you continue your work until you decide on your next steps.

You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2024 as a workaround.
So the work around I have had to do is to Print the PO or the Invoice, Scan the doc and then send as an attachment in an email. So standby when Intuit finds this out we will not be able to print any longer.

The "As a result, features such as emailing forms or reports are no longer available." is an intentional degradation of the software by Intuit, not something that can not still work even without "support". Shame on Intuit for destroying the use of your own product for its loyal customers. Intuit will never see another dime this writers company.
