Online Invoice

Good Day,

The company banking information is correct on the system, however, when the invoice is emailed to the client, the bank info misses the last digit on on the body of the email sent to the client, the correct bank account number does appear on the pdf attachment.

The problem is the "Online delivery" under Accounts and Settings/ Sales, when online invoice is selected.

Please advise how to amend the online invoice.

Thanks

Shane

Online Invoice

Hi there, Shane1407.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details about amending the online invoice. Then, ensure that your bank info shows complete when sending an invoice to your client.

Since the bank info is not complete or the last digit number is missing in the body of the email you've sent to the client, it could be the messages you've added are loaded. That's the reason that all details being entered in the body of the email are not completed.

On the other hand, there's no option to directly amend the online invoice. You'll have to recreate the invoice and I suggest entering the bank information in the footer box. To do this, you'll need to create a template for the specific entry and you can add the details from there. This is to ensure that you send the invoice with the entire details including your bank account number.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear ⚙ icon and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click the New Style button.
  3. Choose Invoice.
  4. Go to the Content tab. Then, click the bottom part.
  5. Add the bank details in the Add footer text field.
  6. Hit Done.

Please refer to this article to view various information on how the Sales page gives you a great at-a-glance view of the status of sales transactions: View sales transactions.
