I am a single user (not network) Licensee of Quickbooks and use the software to manage my business. I also have an interest in another business that owns a separate Licensee of Quickbooks (single user license). The second business sent me a back-up copy of their Quickbooks file to review, using my Licensed copy of Quickbooks. I cannot open this file, because when I enter my Quickbooks Desktop password, the software says that either the user name or password is wrong. How am I supposed to view this Quickbooks file? I am not an accountant.
