Open company file with older version of QB Desktop

I wanted to know if I can open a company file that was created with QB Desktop 2020 with an older version such as QB Desktop 2018?

Open company file with older version of QB Desktop

You have to purchase a 3rd party conversion service. But I would prefer to purchase a new license of QB 2020.
