open credit card software error

We are trying to open our internet cc processing software and QB tells us "Make sure Quickbooks is open and that there are not dialog boxes open in it. Then click Retry." We have shut down our file server, quickbooks software server, all desktop computers and then restarted them all. We still get this same error. Does anyone know how to get this message resolved? Also, QB is saying that I have to buy additional support for a minimum of $599 a year. When paying so much already for the annual upgrades, does anyone know why this is needed at such a high cost? I'm told that we can't get fixes to any Quickbooks Pro 2019 issues unless we purchase this tech support. This just doesn't seem like it would be accurate information. Tara

One possible reason you received this error is because of corrupted QuickBooks Desktop installation files.


Let's use the QuickBooks Refresher tool to refresh the running processes.


Here's how:


1. Close all QuickBooks Desktop versions.
2. Download the QuickBooks Refresher Tool.
3. Save the file on your desktop.
4. Run the QB Refresher tool.
5. Re-open QuickBooks Desktop.
