Pick/Pack tabs in Sales Order Fulfillment

We've had scanners for a bit and are just getting around to seriously start to use them to pick/pack orders. The problem is that there are over 1500 orders that have been sent to the designated pickers in the system. Nearly all of these have been completed and invoiced. They were never resolved in the Fulfillment Sheet. Is there an easy way to flush these out and start over or are we going to have to clean them up one by one?

Thank you for posting in the Community. I'm here to provide insight into your concern about the orders sent to the designated pickers.

 

Right now, the only way to clear the orders is by manually updating them one by one in the QuickBooks system. Clearing by batch isn't an option yet at this time, so I recommend sending feedback directly to our Product Development Team.

  1. Click the Help tab at the top menu bar.

Can I change the default pack slip when I'm using "Sale Order fulfillment"?   The one that is defaulted is too vague and I've created a more detailed that would be great to use in Sales Order Fulfillment.

Hi MaryRenn,

 

You'll want to make sure you've selected the correct template to change the default packing slip template. Let me guide you through the steps so you can get started.

  1. Click Sales Orders from your Home Page.
  2. Enter the customer information.
  3. Click the Template drop-down, and choose your pack slip template.
  4. Click Save at the top.
  5. Click Print. Then, Preview.
  6. Click Print if you want to.

To customize your template, just click Lists and then Templates. Then, edit the template of your Packing Slip.

Pick/Pack tabs in Sales Order Fulfillment

I am having this same issue, but I cannot close out a manual pick list that was created before we switched over to the mobile scanner.  How do I close out this pick list? 

 

Also, we created a second, mobile pick list for the same order when we switched to the phone scanners, and this created a qty of 2 items picked for the same job that only needed one  because the worker partially picked both - how can I correct this? We cannot have excess items picked for our jobs or things get very confusing.

To close out the manual pick list you've created, you'll need to update the pick information manually. You can select Update to send your picking progress back to QuickBooks Desktop. Then, select Complete for the second to confirm the items are picked by the picker.  Here's how: 

 

  1. Choose and double-click the sales order.
  2. Change the pack status to Packed.
  3. Adding notes is optional.
  4. Click Add a package. You can update appear existing package information. 
  5. Select Update Sales order.
