We recently replaced our Quickbooks server. We run POS 18 and Enterprise 18. Both are fully updated. Since the upgrade, every couple of weeks, Enterprise will either totally lose the POS access authorization or it won't allow the connection until you remove the existing authorization. Any ideas why and how to fix it?

I see that you stated you just set up a new QuickBooks server. Often, we can run into these types of issues if the server is set up incorrectly. I recommend contacting our POS technical support team. Our technical support team can review your account and check out the set up of the server securely. This way, we can make sure everything is set up correctly and investigate the odd behavior.
