POS Putting a lower limit on items

The setting to warn you if you have enough inventory items to sell is only available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You'll want to check for third-party applications to have this option added in your Point of Sale.

Meanwhile, if you want to get the prompt in QBDT, here's how to do it.

1. Go to Edit, then Preferences.
2. Select Items & Inventory, then Company Preferences tab.
3. Mark the box next to Warn if enough inventory to sell box. Then, choose from one of the radio button listed.
4. Click OK.

So if we implemented a item threshold on QBDT and had that talk to POS, would we be able to have notifications pop up when an item passes the threshold?
