When changing your loan forgiveness period from 8 weeks to 24 weeks, I'd recommend reaching out to our Phone Support team. They'll be able to check your account in a secure environment and change the loan period.  

Here's how to contact them:

1. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
2. Enter I'd like to change the loan forgiveness period.
3. Click Continue.
4. Select either Start Messaging or Get a callback from us.

No that did not work.  I called and spoke with a rep for about 30 minutes.  She checked with a supervisor and told me to call SBA and gave me a phone #.  No one at SBA answers that number.  She could not explain the time fame that my loan currently has or why it was listed like that. It was neither 8 weeks or 24 weeks.
