Previously I could enter date on bills etc as 0202 and the program would autofill 02/02/2021. Poof! that feature is now gone. Any answers?

QuickBooks Online will always go back to the date of the last transaction that was created, balfourautobody.

If you've previously entered a bill dated 2020, the same date should show when you'll have to enter a different transaction again. However, if QuickBooks will always autofill the 02/02/2021 date. let's find out if this is something to do with your browser. There are times that your browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that cause some unusual responses. To isolate this, try logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito).

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once done, go back and check if it is auto-filling the incorrect. If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Please know that I'm only a few clicks away if you have any other issues or concerns. I'm always here to help. Enjoy the rest of the day
