Price Levels

I'll help you set up a second price level for your paralegal. Here's how:

1. From the Lists menu, go to Price Level List.
2. Select Price Level at the bottom and choose New.
3. Enter a name for the price level on the Price Level Name field.
4. Click OK.

Moreover, you can also set up price rules. With this, you have more power and precision to set conditions for when QuickBooks changes an item price. To get more details, click here: Use Advanced Pricing.

I believe I got everything figured out now!  I've got price item lists now that include both "legal fees" and "paralegal fees" where I can set each to the amount I choose, then I use the appropriate price item for each customer.  My paralegal will bill under "paralegal fees" while I will bill under "legal fees" and it will now charge the appropriate hourly rate for each.  Thanks!
