Print multi-page packing slips

I am using QB Enterprise, and attempting to print a multi-page Packing Slip.  Unfortunately, Page 2 of the Packing Slip has all of the Bill To:, Ship To:, etc. heading information.  Is there a way to print a multi-page packing slip or invoice without the heading information on the 2nd page?

Re: Print multi-page packing slips

Hi CPI-DGCM,

You can print the first page of your packing slip first. Then, go back to QuickBooks and uncheck the "Bill To/Ship To" column to remove the header of the second page. Let me guide you through how.

  1. Open and print the Packing Slip.
  2. Click Print. Make sure to enter one page only on the printer set up.
  3. In QuickBooks, click the Formatting tab at the top of your packing slip.
  4. Click Customize Data Layout.
  5. Click the Header tab.
  6. Uncheck Bill To, Ship To, and other header information you don't want to print under Print column.
  7. Click OK.

Once done, click Print again. Make sure to start with the second page this time.

Re: Print multi-page packing slips

Hi there, CPI-DGCM.

Thank you for posting here in the QuickBooks Community.

Currently, QuicKbooks Desktop doesn't have the option to remove the Bill To and Ship To headers on invoices or in the Packing Slip.

What you can do is import a custom invoice template to personalizing templates for your transactions.

Here's how :

1. Open the company file that you want to import the template into.
2. Select the Lists button, then Templates.
3. On the drop-down list under Templates, choose Import.
4. Select the template you want to import, then click Open.
5. Name the imported template. You can use the original name or change it.
6. Select OK.

Once done, You should now see the imported template on the template list.

You can refer to this article for some reminders on limitations in exporting then importing the template and how to fix some issue when using customizing templates: Use and customize form templates.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.

Re: Print multi-page packing slips

Thank you for your quick response.  Unfortunately, I must not have communicated well.

I only want to remove header items from the second page of a document.  I want to retain all of the header information on the first page.  I have attached a sample of what I am referring to as the 2nd page problem.
