Join nowHello everyone! I have seen many posts about purging data, but I don't see one that quite fits my question. If I have missed it, feel free to link me to it. I just got the 2020 Quickbooks version for Mac (Desktop), and I have Mojave OS. I am brand new to QB and made a few little errors in my bookkeeping and wanted to see HOW I can purge my data and start over. Should I uninstall? It has been less than 60 days. Ultimately I just want to clear it out and start over. If you have any suggestions or answers, I would greatly appreciate it!
Let me help you create a new company file, @drmattseitz.
Purging data is available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you want to start over, I suggest creating a new company file in your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Hi MaryJoy! Thanks so much for your help. So I actually re-installed the QB desktop for Mac and that worked. Was that okay for me to do? I uninstalled and re-installed before I saw your response. It seems it is clean again. Does that work? Thanks!
Hi MaryJoy! Thanks so much for responding. I actually uninstalled and re-installed before I saw your answer and it seemed to work. Is that okay? Any links on here about editing on QB for Mac Desktop? Because it seems like there are a lot of things it won't let me edit. Lastly, are there tutorials for Desktop for Mac you suggest I check out so I am not constantly asking questions on here? Thanks so so much!
