Purging Data

Let me help you create a new company file, @drmattseitz.

Purging data is available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you want to start over, I suggest creating a new company file in your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. 

Let me show you how:

1. Open your QuickBooks and then in the No Company Open window, click on Get Started.
2. On the Create New Company, enter information about your company and click Next.
3. Lastly, follow the onscreen steps to finish the setup.

Hi MaryJoy! Thanks so much for your help. So I actually re-installed the QB desktop for Mac and that worked. Was that okay for me to do? I uninstalled and re-installed before I saw your response. It seems it is clean again. Does that work? Thanks!

Hi MaryJoy! Thanks so much for responding. I actually uninstalled and re-installed before I saw your answer and it seemed to work. Is that okay? Any links on here about editing on QB for Mac Desktop? Because it seems like there are a lot of things it won't let me edit. Lastly, are there tutorials for Desktop for Mac you suggest I check out so I am not constantly asking questions on here? Thanks so so much!
