QB 2020. ERROR. Missing mandatory field TRNSTYPE in header. Help!

I just upgraded to QB 2020 and now I cannot import IFF download files from my PayPal account.  I have been doing this for 15 years with no issue, but now I cannot do it in the 2020 version.  Here is what the error is.

QB 2020. ERROR. Missing mandatory field TRNSTYPE in header. Help!

@Joshua R

I don't think any troubleshooting is needed.  This is just one of the known and rather terrible side effects of the new IIF import code, which is a complete mess.

@Von G

You can likely still import your IIF file, which is likely valid.  It just the new overly-picky and buggy IIF import code won't let you.
