Join nowI am using QB Prem 2020 with latest update.
I just deleted several items and the above group item when I realized that I want to keep it.
Unfortunately the undo only undoes the last delete! No more.
In other apps I use I can undo multiple levels.
Did I miss a preference?
Hello there, @gerdgoebel.
s of the moment, many of the keyboard commands you might use in other programs won't work the same way in QuickBooks. If you have backup data, you can restore the backup. Otherwise, you will have to redo the items over again.
I also recommend creating a backup copy before creating any changes, so you have an option to restore the file and avoid any accidental data loss.
Additionally, you can check the following article for keyboard shortcuts while working in your account: QuickBooks Desktop keyboard shortcuts.
Thanks for dropping by. Please know that I'm just a few clicks away if you have any other questions about QuickBooks. I'll be happy to help you out. Have a great day ahead.
This should be used as a suggestion to allow multi step undos.
I did not make a backup just because I wanted to add several items. Backup/restore is not the issue here. I had added 10 items, decided to delete them, then rethought about and wanted to add them back. Multiple undos would have been the option I was looking for.
Thanks for getting back in here, @gerdgoebel.
I can see how this feature is essential for your business. However, as of the moment, the QuickBooks desktop is unable to undo multiple items.
For now, you can add the ten items one by one. To do this, here's how:
For additional information, you may check this article to guide you manage items in QuickBooks Desktop: Edit, and delete items.
You may also create your own custom fields to personalize QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you have other queries with managing items in QuickBooks. I'll be glad to help you. Have a great day.
Thanks for your reply.
I hope you guys can add some of my suggestions into some future updates.
