QB XML API duplicated transactions

Hello QuickBooks Support Team,

I'm an integration developer at [Company name removed]. I have an issue when reading assembly builds from QuickBooks. The issue is that some transactions are tripled. To debug this, I use SDKTestPlus3 tool that comes with the SDK. The issue is reproduced on the build-in example company file 'sample_advanced inventory business.qbw'. I use the 20th version of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise: Manufacturing and Wholesale.

The issue is with the item Pump -1800 which is a component of the 1000-MC. When I open the Quick report on Pump -1800, it shows 3 build transactions (see figure below).

However, when I execute the BuildAssebly query, it returns me a set of transactions, where the mentioned transactions (#1345, #1346, #1347) are included in the response triple times each (see the response file attached). This makes our integrated software display the imported information incorrectly.

Thank you in advance!

QB XML API duplicated transactions

Hello there, Andrew Pavlov.

I'm glad that you were able to share your concern in the Community.

The details you've provided helps me to understand that you put more effort to identify the root cause if these duplicate transactions. Based on the screenshot, there are three transaction shows, which indicate that we build assembly thrice.

To make sure that everything will be properly corrected, I would recommend contacting our specialist. They'll also help us figure out and analyze these duplicate transactions by using their appropriate tool.

Here are the steps on how we can get in touch with them:

  1. Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact or click Help from the main menu of QuickBooks company.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help, or you can press F1 on your keyboard.
  3. Click the Contact us.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern. Let's say "duplicate transactions on the report".
  5. Click the Search button.
  6. Select Call us or Message us.

Please let me know how the call goes. I want to make sure that you're good to go. Take care!
