QBE Accountant version Toggle to Other Version

I am an Accountant, using QBEA, preparing training for a client, for which I am implementing QBE Platinum with Advanced Inventory. In order to do this, I need to become more than an expert in all things that they need to know. They will be using manufacturing and wholesale version. I saw a screenshot of a menu option that says "Mfg & Whsle" that replaces the "Accountant" menu option that will be on their version. I need to know what is on that menu in order to review it with them. I have tried to Toggle out of the "Accountant" version and to the "Mfg & Whsle" version in both a client file and a sample file. QBE shuts down and restarts per usual in order to toggle, but the Accountant menu is still there. Why is this not working? Can someone at least send me a screenshot of what the menu options are?

Yes, it does make sense. The Accountant menu is normally replaced with Mfg & Whsle after you toggle to that edition. Let's check to see why yours isn't changing. But before we start, here's the screenshot that you're looking for.

You can update your QuickBooks to download fixes for broken program components that may be causing this behavior. If the same thing happens, you can repair it.

Lastly, there is a web-based QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Test Drive that you can use in your training. Just select the Manufacturing & Wholesale edition, and it will load in your browser.

Hi elizabethaem,

The Accountant menu for QuickBooks Desktop is available for accountants subscription. For us to see this option and you're a bookkeeper or accountant, we can get an accountant version. There are specific features that are applicable for you.

If you have an accountant that's using QuickBooks, we can send them an Accountant's copy. We can use this reference for more details on how it works and use the copy.
