Why has QBO being getting hung up this whole week. It is asking to be reloaded after every search I perform. Is there a fix for this? I know it is not just my computer, I have other users at other companies having the same issue.
Hello there, @April917.
Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to fix and refresh the QuickBooks Online (QBO) program and prevent it from getting hung up every time you search.
For the time being, based on our records, there aren't any reported issues about QBO getting hung up or freezing. Based on your description, you may have a browser cache-related issue in your account. Your browser saves files to load websites faster on your next visit. But over time, it'll get outdated, which can cause performance issues using QBO.
To fix this, you can perform some troubleshooting steps. Start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
Once signed in, go ahead and do your search. You can refer to this article for the complete guide: How to search for transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference to guide you in managing your company's growth and transactions using QBO: QuickBooks Learn and Support. It includes help articles, Community discussions with other users, and video tutorials, to name a few.
Let me know if you have other concerns about managing transactions in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @April917.
It's a known issue and is being investigated.
I've reviewed our ongoing/solved investigations and can confirm there's currently one about QuickBooks running slow.
If you haven't yet, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team and referencing its case number (INV-77933). They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and add you to Intuit's list of affected users. This assures you'll receive email notifications about any updates relating to its case.
