QBPOS Crashing after login

I'm having an issue with a client "greying out" and crashing right after login. It is connecting to the Server without issue but is continually crashing. I've tried a fresh install to no avail. Is there anything else I can try?

QBPOS Crashing after login

I've got some troubleshooting steps we can perform to get your QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) working, TPDHI.

 

I appreciate you for performing a clean install to get this sorted out. It's possible there's a damaged component on your software preventing your client from accessing QuickBooks POS.

 

We can repair your QuickBooks to fix any issues while using it. Then, let's make sure we updated Point of Sale to the latest release and meet the system requirements

 

 

Here's how you can repair the software:

 

  1. Click Windows + E on your keyboard to open the computer window.
  2. Select Uninstall or change a program.
  3. Choose your QB POS version, then click Uninstall/Change.
  4. In the Point of Sale Installation window, click Next and select the Repair radio button.
  5. Tap Next and select Repair.
  6. Press Finish.
