Buy nowHello QuickBooks Team,
We are using QuickBooks Pro 2021 Desktop (3-user multi-user environment) installed on Windows Server 2022 Standard.
Everything was working normally until we restarted the server. After restart, we received error -6175, 0 and were unable to open the company file.
To fix this:
I went to File > Utilities, stopped Hosting Multi-User Access, then enabled Hosting again
After this, the company file opened successfully.
However, a new issue appeared:
When trying to send invoices to customers, QuickBooks asks to sign in to the Intuit account. Although I am logged in as Admin in QuickBooks, the Intuit sign-in window opens but freezes and never completes the login process.
The screen remains stuck and does not proceed.
As a result:
• We cannot send invoices
• We cannot use email functionality
• The Intuit account login does not complete
Has anyone experienced Intuit sign-in freezing after resolving error -6175,0?
What is the proper fix for this?
I really appreciate your prompt reply and thank you all in advance.
Did you reinstall your license?
I appreciate you for providing the detailed information of your experience, Omid. I'm glad to hear you resolved error 6175 on your own. The reason why Intuit login process isn't working is that you're using an outdated version of the software, such as the 2022 edition or earlier. This prevents you from accessing online features like sending invoices.
To fix this, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop, which includes updates enabling the use of QuickBooks Email, allowing you to log in successfully and resume sending invoices.
Here's how to upgrade:
Once the installation is complete, simply sign in to your company file to continue using QuickBooks Email and access all necessary features.
If you have further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.
Dear,
I regret to inform you that while attempting to resolve the issue, I reset the Intuit Login Cache and deleted the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, as I believed this might fix the problem. Unfortunately, this action resulted in the loss of the software activation, and I am now receiving a message stating that the activation limit has been exceeded.
Please note that the software has not been installed on a new machine. This occurred solely while troubleshooting the previous issue.
I kindly request that you reset our license activation at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

Hi there, Omid. I appreciate you getting back in the thread.
Since you accidentally deleted the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, you can check your computer's Recycle Bin to see if the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file is there; if you find it, you can right-click the file and restore it.
However, please keep in mind that restoring this file may not resolve the login issue. Because QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2021 has been discontinued, it no longer receives the necessary updates or support to maintain connection with Intuit’s login services. To resolve this, I highly recommend upgrading your QBDT to the latest release.

Can you login to CAMPS and find your license code there?
No, I would really appreciate any specific guidance or assistance. I tried reaching out through the 'Help' and 'Contact Us' options, but I haven't received any response so far.
I’ve tried reaching out through the 'Help' and 'Contact Us' options, but haven’t received a response so far. The system only provides a small box for questions, limited to 170 characters, and when I submit my question, it doesn’t proceed. Could you please guide me any other alternative way on how to contact the Help Center or a QB agent to reset our license activation as soon as possible?

Hi there, Omid. You didn’t get a reply from our live support team because we’re closed on weekends. It’s best to reach out to us Monday to Friday between 6 AM to 6 PM.
Another way to locate your activation code is by following SIAB's suggestion to log in using your CAMPS account to acquire the data securely.
Just a quick note: if you have any more tech questions, our team won’t be able to help out since QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Pro 2021 is no longer supported. You might want to check out this article for the 2023 version as the same rules apply. QuickBooks Desktop 2023 service discontinuation policy.
If you have additional questions, don't hesitate to reply to this post.
If you are unable to log into CAMPS or couldn't find your license there, it is likely that your license has been flagged and reinstallation attempts have been blocked.
