Quickbooks Desktop since latest update

I'm currently on version 29.0.4011, using Windows 10

Whenever I try to print/email or save an invoice as a pdf, the program would freeze. This would happen periodically and not all the time. I would have to force close QB and restart it. Sometimes I would have to do this multiple times before it works.

When I go to system processes, under QB, it lists a MAPI and QB. If I close the MAPI sometimes QB would unfreeze. I believe this only started happening since I've updated the software.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello dear, blujay22.

Based on the information you shared with me here, I can see that you're using QuickBooks Desktop App.

When things go like this, performing the recommended basic troubleshooting steps can help you fix the issue. With that, we can clear the app cache files first. I'll guide you on how to do it:

Here's how to fix the unusual behavior of the system:

  1. Click the Help menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the Rest App Data option on the drop-down selection.

If the same thing happens, uninstalling and reinstalling the app can help you sort this out as well. For troubleshooting steps, you can refer to this article as this contains additional information about it.

Please get back here in case you need more help. I'm always around to help! Take care!

I don't see a reset app data option. There is a reset Intuit ID settings.
