Good evening, @DrVideoGirl.
Thank you for informing me about this issue with the upgrade for QuickBooks Desktop 20.0.
To provide you with the best solution, I need to as a few questions.
- When this crashes, is this only happening for you or all workers?
- Are you getting any errors when this happens?
- How is QuickBooks installed on the computers? (example: server and workstations, in the cloud, etc.)
- Is QuickBooks compatible with the version of the computer it is installed on? ( See System Requirments )
In the meantime, I suggest running a repair on QuickBooks to make sure the application is running correctly. In a few simple steps, you'll be up and running in no time.
- On the computer that QuickBooks crashes, log in as the Admin.
- Go to Single user mode.
- Rebuild Data.
- Once the rebuild is complete, run a Verify as well.
- Close QuickBooks down completely and reboot the computer.
This will take care of QuickBooks crashing. Let me know if there are any issues I will keep an eye out on this post and help in any way I can.
