Quickbooks Mac 2019 "next" and "payments" buttons in make deposits no longer exist?

We can verify and rebuild your data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. This helps us find data issues within your company file. Here's how:

1. Go to the File menu and select Utilities.
2. Select Verify Data, then select OK to close all windows. If you see “Your data has failed the integrity check” you need to rebuild your file.
3. Then, go back to the File menu and select Rebuild Data under Utilities.
4. QuickBooks will ask to make a backup before rebuilding your company file, select OK.
5. Once the rebuild is completed, you can then click the OK button.

The Previous and Next functions are still there but have been moved to the left sidebar.  This was done many years ago. The left sidebar shows all the deposits to the current account selected in the Deposit To control.

You can click on the list of deposits and activate it and use the up and down arrow to move through the list (the same thing that Previous and Next did). You can also filter the list with the "Search Entry" field to quickly find a particular deposit.  Finally you can change the sort order of that list which is also helpful when trying to find particular deposits.

The Save button will do an automatic "Next" if you have just entered a new deposit - in other words it will allow you to continue entering more deposits.  If you are modifying an existing deposit the Save button will just save it and leave it on screen.
