QuickBooks not receiving time from My Time

I have QB 2020 Desktop for Mac. I have used QB with Intuit My Time for years. Today, I sent my time to QB and it is not showing up when I create the invoice for the project. The time button is even grey out. How do I bill my time without having to enter everything manually?

QuickBooks not receiving time from My Time

Hi there, @Avia. Being able to bill your time without having to enter them manually helps you save time.

We'll have to make sure that your computer meets the system requirement. Intuit My Time App is compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. At least one computer must have both My Time and QuickBooks for Mac installed to exchange data.

For more information about this app, you can check out these articles:

Hi  @Avia,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the receiving time from My Time. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime. Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!

QuickBooks not receiving time from My Time

Did this ever get resolved?  I too “send to Quickbooks” mytime entries but where in the world do they go?  They are not showing up in the invoices and the “time” button is greyed out.  It is linked and compatible but there isn’t a lot of information or support for this app.  Please help.

QuickBooks not receiving time from My Time

I want to ensure you'll be able to sync your time entries from My Time to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac, @tlc88.

To isolate the issue, let's first ensure that your QBDT Mac program is updated to the latest release. This will allow the system to have the latest components and fixes. Let me guide you how:

  1. From the QuickBooks drop-down menu, select Check for QuickBooks updates.
  2. Then, if the newer version is available, click Install update.
  3. Next, is to select Install and relaunch options, if asked.
  4. The QuickBooks for Mac will open up automatically when the software update is completed.

After that, check if you can now see the entries that came from the My Time app. If the issue persists, I'd recommend reaching out to the app's support team. They have the tools to further check what's preventing the data to show.
